Paul Epstein, Director of New Business Development, New Orleans Hornets
Presently the Director of New Business Development for the New Orleans Hornets, Paul’s team is responsible for generating new season ticket sales through a variety of channels including business to business, past buyers, and personal prospects. The results of his departments efforts signify the revenue growth in ticket sales for the New Orleans Hornets as a heavy focus is placed on developing new business.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Paul Epstein is a proud alumnus of the University of Southern California. He studied at the Marshall School of Business, with an emphasis in Sales & Marketing. Paul then furthered his education through a sports career development program at Sports Management Worldwide. It is there that he was introduced to his contacts which would eventually provide his “foot in the door” opportunity to his dream industry – Sports. Paul started in January of 2006 as an Inside Sales Executive for the Los Angeles Clippers. Within five months he was promoted internally to the position of Account Executive. He then continued his climb through the ranks of sales into a management role in the Clippers organization serving as Inside Sales Manager for nearly two years. Paul also has experience in corporate hospitality sales within the sporting industry, selling VIP client entertainment facilities at major sporting events such as the Super Bowl, Final Four, World Cup, and Olympics.
