Full House recently dissected the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in the United States from 2013. The purpose of researching the list is to keep our finger on the pulse of what industries are flourishing in comparison to the industries we see buying sports ticket packages.
Below are the industry rankings from the Inc. 5000 fastest growing private companies. When profiling the specific companies further, 4 of the top 5 are mostly classifying under the computers/high-tech category that additionally registers as one of our top industries buying sports ticket packages. Other notable industries we have identified as “proven” season and premium ticket buyers are financial services, manufacturing (industrial/commercial machinery, fabricated metal products), construction (general contractors/home builders), logistics & transportation (trucking), food and beverage, real estate (agencies/managers), media (television, radio, newspaper), insurance, and consulting (business management). A few top buying industries you do not see present on this list are attorneys, accountants, doctors, dentists, banks, oil, and specialty contractors.
Keep an eye on the industries you see here now and moving forward until the next Inc. 5000 list is released. Every time we analyze businesses that are buying sports tickets we see a shift in the industry rankings and identify emerging categories. Staying on top of which industries are growing more rapidly than others can allow for increased insight on who may potentially have more client entertainment dollars to spend with your organization.
